SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The IWLCA Convention is the largest gathering of collegiate women's lacrosse coaches in the country and we encourage EVERY coach to join us for three great days of education, networking, and celebrating the best in the game!

We recognize that professional development funding varies from school. Each year the IWLCA provides more than $30,000 worth of scholarships to attend the Convention through the Annual Scholarship program co-sponsored by Brine ($1,000 scholarships) and the Kristina Quigley Scholarship ($3,000+ scholarship).

IWLCA Convention Scholarship

In 2024, the IWLCA Convention Scholarship program will be able to award 

30 scholarships thanks to the work done by fellow coaches to make this past summer's IWLCA Experience Clinics successful. In addition, each scholarship winner will receive a custom prize pack and team discounts from Brine!

Kristina Quigley Scholarship

In 2016, the IWLCA created a scholarship to honor Kristina Quigley, the former Seton Hill coach who was tragically killed, along with her unborn son, in a bus accident in 2013 while traveling with her team. 

​

The Kristina Quigley Scholarship will provide funding to allow the family of an IWLCA member to accompany them in Florida at the IWLCA Convention.  Selection of the recipient will be on the basis of an essay response detailing the applicant’s “passion for coaching and family, and what it would mean to have your family with you at the IWLCA Convention.”
