Important IWLCA Convention Policies

Credentials: Credentials and lanyards must be worn at all times during the Convention. Convention credentials are issued to an individual based on the registration process and may not be shared. If sharing occurs, the credential may be revoked, those attendees will not be permitted to attend any of the remaining Convention sessions, and no refunds will be issued.

Convention Attire: The IWLCA Convention is business casual dress with the exception of the IWLCA Honors Dinner and Hall of Fame Induction on Thursday evening. Attire for this prestigious event is dressy casual / cocktail - (aka look nice).  Coaches are invited to dress in more casual sport attire on Friday.

Event Promotion: During the IWLCA Convention, the IWLCA reserves the right to use various content created by staff and attendees to promote the IWLCA. Content may include photos and videos of attendees participating in Convention and/or Clinic activities and may be shared via social media channels. In addition, the IWLCA may use a Convention attendee’s name, image, and likeness (NIL) on IWLCA social media platforms for both IWLCA and Convention promotional purposes. By registering, you are giving permission for your NIL to be used. If you do not authorize the IWLCA to use your NIL, please email the IWLCA Executive Director at earobertshaw@iwlca.org.

Expectations and Consequences: The IWLCA Convention provides an opportunity for learning, collaboration and interaction between staff, speakers, presenters, guests, and attendees. The Convention environment is one of openness, inclusivity, and mutual respect. Any attendee who speaks or acts in a disruptive, derogatory, or offensive manner may be removed, have their credential revoked, and/or may not be permitted to attend future conventions. Behavior deemed inappropriate will be at the discretion of the IWLCA staff and Board of Directors.

Cancellation Policy: Requests to cancel registration must be submitted via email to earobertshaw@iwlca.org. The following refund policy dates are will be in effect:

*Refund requests made before October 31 will incur a $50 administrative penalty Refund requests between October 31-November 13 will be will incur a 50% per ticket penalty. Refund request made within one week of Convention (after November 13) will not be granted.
